YES! There are too many idiot drivers out there now!

I had to take a federal test for my class A license. If every one had to take that test, the roads would be empty.

They need to make drivers tests hard to pass so they know you know what you are doing on the road

The state, but depending what you are driving, The federal government is very interested in who is learning to drive over the road trucks. (They could be terrorist targets). Also, some form of government oversee all licenses of all sorts.

Well, yeah. Don't they already? Have to be a certain age... pass a defensive driving course... have proof of insurance... Or do you mean something else?

I think there should be a standard that all states should go by there should not be different standards in different states.
