there are so many beautiful islands in Johor, such as Rawa, Tinggi, Besar, Sibu, Permanggil, Aur to name a few ! The famous Tioman is very near to Johor but belong to Pahang !

All those islands mentioned above have the facilities of hotel/resort/chalet, and boat/ferry services mostly from Mersing, Tanjung Leman n Tanjung Gemok depend on which island you are heading to.

Normally an air-cond room should cost about RM100.00 where non-air cond would be something of RM60.00 per nite. Its advisable to take those full board package on offered, its something of RM350.00 for 3D2N per person !

There is no island in Johore, unless you are talking about Tioman which is Pahang. The other islands in Johore do not have any resorts on them, too small.

However you can get beach hotels in Pontian or Desaru. Not expensive at all.

I do know there is 2 island in Johor, I've not personally visited there. So here what I can help you with:

Rawa Island, Johor one of my friend visited there and he think it's nice + cheap. Please check out this site: http://www.rawasfr.com/

Another island I've come across is Pulau Besar, Johor. Not too sure if it's good or what is the price like. Perhaps you can visit their website too: http://www.dcoconut.com/

I would say Tioman Island... I've been there few years ago.. All I can say is, it is the best ever island that I've been. You can stay at Berjaya if ou want a comfortabe stay but of course it's a little bit expensive...
