Not true, and the article isn't saying it's happened, they're only speculating. Also, Hoopsworld is a lousy source for "insider" Lakers information. Every year at deadline, they report the Lakers are making/have made a big trade, and evvery year they're wrong.

Looks like Mr. Kidd is staying a Net as of right now. The Lakers are refusing the mention of anyone named Bynum, Bryant or Odom....and the Nets want at least one of those guys in exchange for Kidd.
