If you buy your prescription drugs in Canada from a Pharmacist at a drug store , It would be legal and safe.

If you are buying on the internet and it says Canada...How would you know,? You could be getting fake drugs from India or Nigeria or Mexico.

ordering drugs online can cut costs considerably. A Consumer Reports study found that savings can reach 25% or more. There are so many pharmacies available which provides FDA approved medicines without any issues.

These sites also calls immediately after the order to confirm your order. I've had nothing but great success and interactions with the on line folks. Shipping took a 8 days, but that was because of the postal service used.

If you have a prescription, then you should be able to buy the drugs anywhere. However buying drugs from another country doesn't mean they are pure or safe. Buying drugs in this country is a risk, so going to another country for drugs can be more of a risk. Try looking at alternative medicine for help. The holistic approach will give you more clues for the cure.

I'm not sure of the current legal status of Canadian drugs, but it is safe. There was a lot of political fuss about it. I wrote to my congressman but his answer was double talk. The US drug firms are opposed to it because they loose money, so they pour millions of dollars into lobbying to keep the congressmen in the dark.

The Canadian drugs are as safe as the ones you buy here.

I bought and used them for about four years. During that time it was considered "illegal" but they had developed ways around it. You could have the your doctor order them for you and have it drop-shipped to your address, because it was legal for American doctors to import drugs from Canada.

I saved at least $150 per month. Now all my drugs have gone generic and our government has decided to go into the drug store business so I could no longer save enough to make it worth while.

Good luck

Some drugs it is not really legal but not really illegal and not enforced by US authorities. Narcotics are illegal and that is enforced. If the company you deal with there is reputable, it is safe but the trouble is there are more crooked sellers in Canada than crooked siding salesmen here in Florida.

I am unsure due to President Bush who pushed through not buying medication from Canada. I buy certain items from Mexico a couple time of years. You can't buy pain pills and things like that and carry over the boarder.

I went to Walmart today and saved $154.84 using their new $4.00 program since I do not have insurance. I still spent $79.00, but I have pneumonia, and I thought I was darn lucky to get the meds this cheap. One prescription cost $4.00 for #18 Prednisone 10mg, one was for Ultram, and they used the generic Tramadol, that is usually costs $162.84 for #120 and it was $8.00, and one was one wasn't on the list and cost $$67.84. My doctor suggested I go there since he knows I do not have insurance. Target also offers a similar drug program.

Here is a link to the list of the 331 drugs they offer.

Generic drugs are less expensive because generic manufacturers don't have the investment costs of the developer of a new drug. New drugs are developed under patent protection. The patent protects the investment--including research, development, marketing, and promotion--by giving the company the sole right to sell the drug. As patents near expiration, other manufacturers can apply to the FDA to sell generic versions. Because those manufacturers don't have the same development costs, they can sell their product at substantial discounts. Also, once generic drugs are approved, there is greater competition, which keeps the price down. Today, almost half of all prescriptions are filled with generic drugs.
