This question is not possible. If god is the direct result of (was created by) the big bang then there was no time in which there was no god. If god was 'around' before the big bang then since time didn't exist (it was created the same as what we call space, our plane of existance) there was no time before god came into existance.
Having said that to answers the meaning of the question, it would be impossible for us to concieve of the time before god since we are limited to our perception of time as an endless flow connected with space. If as in the bible he was around before time and space we would never be able to even grasp the very basics of existance then, so we would be unable to grasp the time before.
Hope this helps.

This is a very nice question because it will distinguish realised and non realised persons.
The fact of God realisation is, that it require intelligence, tolerance, lengthy time consuming devotion with a 100% pure heart and mind searching for a true solution and way that will bring up human beings to the peak of highest standard of experience of life. And it is quite possible, many in the past have achieved this.
There fore before the first one realised God, human being were living like other animals and creatures in the forest, at least on this earth. I hope you won't expect more from me as it is beyond my capacity as a human. I wish, you realise, God bless you.

During 1800s, Anthropologists had a problem as to how
to classify human beings. One researcher proposed the
expression "intelligent animal". After advanced studies
on monkeys, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed
"tool using animal". After observing some animals
making wooden tools and sharpening them with knife like
stones, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed
"weapon using animal". A decade ago, a rare film was
shot in African forests. One short monkey was hit very
badly by a big monkey. The short monkey prepared a
wooden knife using stones and hid it on the top of a
tree. After some days, when the big monkey came to
attack the short monkey, it ran up to the tree for the
weapon it has hid and killed the big monkey. The one
thing that the anthropologists found with any group of
human beings, even if they did not have contacts with
the out side world for thousands of years, is
spirituality with some form of religion. So, man is a
"spiritual animal" if you want to call him that way.
The Upanishads say that "Manush" (human) was so named
because he has "Manas" a mind higher than that of the
animals which realises the divinity in creation. It was
present since the creation of human beings. Religion is
the characteristic feature of most of the human beings.
It is as eternal and and as unchanging as the Almighty.
Disbelief by a few will not affect it.
Advaita Siddhantam says that the Atma (soul) present in
your body is a piece of Paramatma (infinite soul, Almighty).
Almighty is eternal. Almighty is Omnipotent. Almighty
is infinite. How can the finite understand the infinite?

In Abrahamic religions, pre-existence or Beforelife is the belief that each individual human soul existed before conception, and at conception (or later, depending on when it is believed that the soul enters the body) God places one of these pre-existent souls in the body. In Christianity, pre-existence contrasts with traducianism and the more widely accepted version of creationism which both hold that the individual human soul does not come into existence until conception or later.
The boundaries of the beforelife are debatable, since there is controversy over when a human life formally begins.

There never was that time before God. God always was. Always will be. God did not come into existence, existence was created by Him. God stands outside of time.
Hard to wrap your brain and imagination around that I know; but there you have it.

The TRUE GOD existed (and will do so for ever )!
Our concept of God is mostly a creation of mind, not experiential. The whole effort, purpose etc is to Experience it !
Once we have that experience it, then dissolution is the only possible consequence, and along with it the question, the answer, the explanation ... everything gets conclusively resolved for such a person !

4. ‘Is TIME God ?’ or ‘GOD is Time ?
Neither. For God is not time and time is not God. Evolution is continuous.
5. GOD created Time’ or ‘TIME created God ?’
God did not create time and time did not create God. All is energy manifested from The Source….The Almighty
6. ‘TIME started when ? Would end when ?
There is no beginning and there is no ending, only the now moment.
One must understand energy to understand Source….The Almighty.
All is energy, and all arrived of energy. The Source flows through all and all is manifested through Source. There are no time frames only continual evolution. As energy rises and falls this manifests much change.

Why does it matter? If you believe in a God, then that time before God doesn't exist; if you don't believe in a God then that time is still occurring.
