One of my favorite quotes:
'Patriots always talk about dieing for their country, but never killing for it'
-General George S. Patton
It doesn't really matter, it could be anything. From cleaning up litter to inventing a alternate fuel source. It doesn't matter. The bigger the better.

Traditionally it means serving in the military. But, there are other ways to serve: The Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Clubs, etc. It involves commitment and sacrifice.
I'm an Air Force veteran and I recommend any of these.

Serving your country means to join the USA armed forces and fight for your country. Or to do anything that will make a better difference in our country. To do for your country.

President Kennedy said it best:
"Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."
The United States of America was built by men and women that volunteered to serve their country. They bought our freedom with their service and their life. It makes you feel good when you give of yourself.
