I know that leno is leaving in 2009 and conan will take over for him, but does anyone know who will be in conans spot? it better not be that tool carson daly. he guy is the least funny person on TV, I would pick ben stein before daly.

Thats the big question. THey may have a try out like they did for Johnny Carson's spot and see what fresh talent they can find. Thats how Conan wound up with Letterman's old spot when he left.
I do think Stein would be awesome. I don't know why he doesn't have a quasi-entertainment politcal show now (other than he doesn't want to) since he has so much experience.
Carson wont get it. Of existing folks Id guess perhaps some ex SNL person. I wonder if Conan's old sidekick Andy would like his own.

So would I. Why is Leno leaving? This is the second time I have heard this. I'll have to google it. The Tonight Show won't be the same, and neither will Late Night. But, there's only one Conan.

I hope they just don't shuffle Carson up one time slot. He sucks. We'd need someone with more charisma. I wouldn't mind Ben Stein...at least he's funny! :)
