if wild cards are allowed, 5 of a kind is the highest hand, since it cannot be made without the wild cards

I would think that it would be The Royal Flush since the Wild Card would be used as the 9, and a regular Royal Flush beats 4 of a kind. Good luck on finding the answer, but since I don't play much Wild Card Poker, I can't be for certain.

I'd say that the correct answer to this question would depend on different fctors. First, it would depend on whether what is wild. If one-eyed jacks or suicide kings are wild then the royal flush is higher. If you have like sevens or fours wild, then the five of a kind would then have a higher ranking. Also, it depends on whether you are using the jokers. The question of what has a higher ranking is still debatable among the professionals. May all your pots be monsters and your cards be live.

As far as I know 5 of a kind is highest followed by a royal flush without wilds followd by a royal flush w/ wilds. Im not too sure if it matters if you use a wild for your royal flush, but thats how we always play. But yea, 5 of a kind is highest.
