I have never heard of Alex Fox.

I do go to Limewire or Shareeza to download though and have not had any viruses. You have to be careful of file sizes though. If it is too small, it could have a virus. You really have to know your music to find decent Gypsy music on them though.

Are you interested in the flamenco style music, which Alex Fox is according to the Net, or Romanian/Hungarian types?

I have tons of Romanian and Hungarian but very little flamenco.

I am not going to give you tips on how to illegally dowload because I am Rromani ("Gypsy"). However, if you have names of bands you are looking for you can sometimes find downloadable samples on their websites.

That is how I obtained quite a bit of mine. Of course, I paid for a large amount of it as well.

If you want cheap, but not free, you can go to Calabash Music:

If you want old, traditional Gypsy music from Romania, this man has amassed a collection and is offering it for free:

Some of the files were corrupt when I downloaded all of it some time ago so some more might be corrupt now.

I noticed you have another question that deals with bellydancing. If you are looking for bellydancing music, you might want to try some East Indian music too.
