Honestly, if i had an addiction to Xbox i would simply lock the controllers in a closet. Or put the games away for a little while. I do play the Xbox a whole bunch and when feel that i am playing to much i just tell my wife to hide the controllers or games. It hurts... trust me it hurts bcause you can't help but want to play but it sure does slow down how often you play the xbox. Now i only play my xbox every now and then. Try to go out and do stuff, like go to the stores and see what games you want next, least your not actually sitting at home playing. Hook up with some friends and go out, but not to there house to play xbox. LOL! Pretty much try to find something to do to keep you away from the xbox. You will find that once you play it again after a while you are a much better player, because you give your eyes a chance to relax and you can focus better. Well I hope this helps you. Peace

Eventually you will lose your vision, from staring at the tv, and will no longer beable to see the screen to play. My suggestion is moderation. I get addicted to GTA3 on PS2 and after a few days I can't function so I put it away for a week or so then become a zombie again. Ha! A never ending cycle. There should be a support group. Maybe you could start one. ;)

It's the same as any other addition. Mind over matter, it's all up to you.

keep it in the trunk of your car, you'd be les likely to go and get it and do all of the work to set it up unless you really had the time to play it.
