I have a Windows Vista Acer 3690 Aspire and I want to know if its bad for it if it is on all the time,, HELP PLEASE!

In general, the more you use the parts, the more they are worn out. Most parts, PSUs especially, have a limited lifetime. However, most parts will last you a long time. I would just suggest turning it off overnight or when you'll be gone for a while. This will ensure max life for ANY computer or electronic equipment for that matter.

I doubt it, living in college most of my friends left their laptops on for 24/7. You can also just have it hibernate overnight when you're not using it.

it sucks more memory and ram usage...
so install the compactable one for your laptop
so it ll have more life

i don't think so i'm on my laptop all the time but when i'm not on it it's shut off
