America will not recognize dual citizenship, and while you are in the FBI you certainly will not be able to reclaim your Polish citizenship. If you leave the FBI, you may also not be able to reclaim your Polish citizenship unless you leave America and stay in Poland. It's really a rough spot. My suggestion: Go with the FBI. Unless there is a serious reason you need your Polish Citizenship, the FBI is an incredible offer. They pay well and take care of you, but they will practically own you. Once you go FBI you never get out. Meaning they monitor you even after you leave the Bureau. Choose Wisely!

P.S.- "Traitor" was what you were thinking of.

Good Luck!

I seriously doubt you were being "recruited" by the FBI. Sounds like some drunk was playing you.
If you are truly interested in joining the FBI, contact the local field office. They will gladly tell you everything you want to know. Your dual citizenship shouldn't be a huge obstacle, if it's one at all. The last time I checked the FBI still wants its agents to have a BA or BS degree. Most of the FBI's work is in white collar crime. Although they do take an active counter terrorism role. This is were your language skills could come in handy.
If you actually had to give up your Polish citizenship to join the FBI, I suspect Poland would reinstate you since your reason is honorable. I doubt Poland would consider you a traitor nor would this country if you decide to reapply for your Polish citizenship.

The word is traitor, not trader. I don't know about that, but once you get into the spook business, you live in fear of losing a piece of paper or knowing the wrong person.
