I'm 39, have two children. Is it dangerous to conceive at this age. I want to have one child. I'm healthy. Can you pls advise me whether it's dangerous for my health? Thanks in advance.

Women have children at later ages everyday now. The only person who can really answer this for you is your dr. It is a good idea to get a checkup before you start trying anyway so you might want to speak to your ob and see what your specific risks are. Good Luck!

She broke down the statistics that having a baby at 38/39 is still about a 98% chance of having a very healthy baby and pregnancy. I've been told that the concern I need to have is the vitamins. She advised me to start on prenatal vitamins at that point. I've been trying for 6 months now, getting ready to turn 39. I think the main issue is in conceiving at our age.
