I believe it's a sin because it shows no gratitude for the body we have. and our body cost alot.

Really! You are beyond sin! Don't worry about the sex change worry about whether you can live up to any gender? The way i see it you don't like who you are male or female. Unfortunately changing the sex organ does not free your mind. OK Get it straight right now you are twisted and this is where the sin starts with your MIND. We are all sinners as far as God is concerned. Does this help? Fornication (porneia, grk.) is sin and includes homosexual, heterosexual sexs outside of the original ordained marriage by God of a man and a woman. How do you feel now? Therefore if you change who you are and continue to engae in sexual relationships and you are not married as God intended you are officially a Sinner. K!

OK listen as far as i know the people who this are gender confuse people who feel they are in the rong body but may be some lesbians gets a sex change cause i saw a lesbian on Jerry springer once and she looked like a man and the women that she was dating really thought she was man until she said that she was women or born a women so if some lesbians actual do this then i guess some gays doses this any way i don't know if i consider this a sin but i know that i would never have a sex change.

No, it isn't a sin. In all fairness God didn't make me, all he did was make Adam and Eve. My parents made me, and I can't live with the way my body is now so I am changing it. I am sorry that you feel the way you do, but I envy the fact that you havn't felt the pain that I have known for such a long time, and I honestly hope that you never have to experience anything similiar to it.

I think, if we can accept ourselves being gay is not a sin, then why should we think that sex change is?
If you think that it was a sin, then you should try to remember why you were gay on the first place. Of course it is not for everyone.
It shouldn't be a sin. If you don't like it, don't just call it a sin. I don't like girls... it doesn't mean it is a sin if i started to have sex with girls. I... just don't like it.

One of the many great things about opinions... everyone got 'em. We can only decide what a "sin" in our own affairs. Who is to judge some one else and what they have to go through but themselves? Are you truly willing to put yourself in a transgenders shoes and really know what it's like to understand them? It's so much easier just not judging at all. Then for you, being a transgender is a sin. This is something that you wouldn't do for yourself.

It isn't a sin but it's costly and other wise doesn't change a man to a woman or a woman into a man. Unless someone can change a persons DNA a man will always be a man and a woman will always be a woman no matter how much money they spend or what they have added on or removed.

Where in the bible does it say a man must stay a man or a woman must stay a woman?
Anyway, no, I don't think it's a bad thing to do. I would never do it myself, but I do feel sorry for those that must resort to it. It must be horrible to live your life in the wrong body. It's a very brave choice, to decide to finally do something to make themselves happy.

The thing is, there is only a lot of evidence that sexuality is genetic and defined in the fetus, but there's full proof that transvestites are real. If it is real, then getting a sex change would just be right, wouldn't it?

Absolutely not.
Birth defects are corrected EVERYDAY!! A sex change is the same thing, correcting a birth defect!
Just ask any Transgendered, the genitalia they were born with are a birth defect, they are mentally and emotionally the opposite gender...so making their bodies fit what their perseption of who they are ...than I say GO FOR IT!!
These are some of the MOST BRAVE PEOPLE on the planet....all because of people like you who tell them they're doing something wrong to correct a mistake!!
Cleft pallets are corrected everyday!
Facial Deformities are corrected EVERYDAY!
Extra digits or deformed limbs are CORRECTED EVERYDAY!
What's the difference of correcting someone's genitalia if they know emotionally that they were born into the wrong body?
Oh, and BTW: those who are Pre-surgical Transgenders who are dating those who are the same gender of their pre-surgical bodies are NOT GAY!!!! They're HETEROSEXUALS TRAPPED in the wrong bodies!
A person born in a female body, but who believes they are actually male, who dates females ARE NOT LESBIANS!!
They're Pre-Op HETEROSEXUALS!!
GEEEEEEEZZZZ why is that SO hard to understand?
