I have spent the last two hours looking the net over to find out who wrote the song and which agency holds teh mechanical rights. I have checked the major music associations and no one seems to have it listed.

The song "Meet Me In Montana" was written by Paul Davis, the affluent songwriter of both country and pop chart hits such as "I Go Crazy", the longest charting single in history from 1977 until 1983 when Michael Jackson's "Beat It" started a new run.

Other well-known 70's, 80's and 90's hits he has written and performed include "Cool Night", "'65 Love Affair", "I Won't Take Less Than Your Love" with Tanya Tucker, "Do Right", and "Ride 'Em Cowboy".

Davis was in Jesus Christ Superstar as Paul.
