try using geocities. it's easy when u use the templates. also learn html to revamp it.

If you're a beginner, I suggest starting out with a blog. A blog can be configured to look like a standard Web site, but you don't need to know HTML/CSS/Javascript/etc. If you can browse the Web and fill out an online form, you can be up and running with a blog before tomorrow.
You can use a free blogging host like Google's Blogger:

I prefer WordPress - there's a great support community and very attractive free layouts.

I'm on http://www.terapad.com , its free, and very easy. Even my Mum has one ! Even better though is all the extra features that you can use for free like shops, webpages, forums and anaylytics. You can try www.internic-whois.com. It can host a free web site and has resources to web site development tools like 1stpage2000 and others. Freewebs sucks.

HTML or XHTML is best because you have better control over how your website looks. http://www.w3schools.com is a good really easy tutorial.
