My period started on 22 Jan 2007. I did an ovualtion test on 4 feb (13th day of cycle) that came back positive - i.e. I was going to ovulate in 24 to 36 hours. I had sex on the 2nd, 5th, 7th and 11th. If the kit was right I should have got my period on Monday, 19 Feb which is 14 days after my date of ovulation according to the kit. No period!!!! I did a pregnancy test on the 16th of Feb which was negative so it should have come. Am I too assume the kit was wrong because I am told if your egg isn't fertilised that you have to get your period in 14 days as the egg dies. What is going on????

Well, if you are on a normal 28 day cycle you should have started on the 18.... either way you are still late. I would wait a few days and then take an early test using forst morning urine. If it still come neg see your dr for a blood test and a possible exam. Try to remember that sometimes women don't start producing enough HCG to show up on a test right away. It doubles every 2.2 days. If you aren't pregnant, sometimes just the stress of "trying" can make you late. Good Luck!!!!

You can be pregnant, if you don't get your period within the next five days I would go to a doctor to get a blood test done, or you can try to buy another pregnancy test and try that again in a few days, good luck :-)
