I find myself comparing people to so many cultures since i,ve been living in Austin i,ve seen the changes in race and culture but would find it difficult to make that decision. Those who traveled the world would know better than i as i haven,t been to any foreign country.

Every race should be respected. No one should be above the others. There's no need of comparison which is more superior. It's the appreciation of each culture, beliefs, traditions and way of life that should be given emphasis. That's the reason why there is so much chaos because we forget to appreciate them, and we rather choose to demean other people. Isn't that bad?

I cannot say any thing about any race of today.

Till one thousand years ago, the Indians were the most
respected. It was India which gave Buddhism to China
and Japan. It is India which gave Hinduism to some
countries in the far east. It is India which gave the
spiritual techniques of Meditation and Yoga to the
modern world. And also the medical science Ayurveda.

Among all countries in the world, India has inherited
the largest number of ancient manuscripts from time
immemorial. They were written on the widest range of
subjects known to humans.

Rig Veda mentions ships with 100 oars. The Buddhist
Jataka stories wrote about large Indian ships carrying
seven hundred people. History says that that Telugu
King Samudra Gupta went around the world several times.
The Harivamsa informs that the first geographical
survey of the world was performed during the period of
king Vaivasvata. The towns, villages and demarcation of
agricultural land of that period were depicted on maps.
Brahmanda Purana provides the best and the most
detailed description of world map drawn on a flat
surface using an accurate scale. Padma Purana says that
world maps were prepared and maintained in book form
and kept with care and safety in chests. Surya
Siddhantha speaks about construction of wooden globe
representing earth and marking of horizontal circles,
equatorial circles and further divisions. Accidental
finding of an old map some where can only open
questions. Any continued knowledge must have many
centuries of usage. Only India has it.

Dr.Roberto Pinotti, an Italian scientist, presented a
paper on 'Aeronautics in ancient India' in the World
Space Conference conducted at Bangalore. He told the
conference delegates that those aircrafts were similar
to modern jet-propelled aeroplanes. He agreed that they
represent the most complex and sophisticated designs.
Some of them used radars and imaging technology
instrumentation.

Inspite of its scientific and technical resources,
India was the only country which did not invade
any other country.

India was the only country which has the higher
concepts like Vasudha Eka Kutumbam (the world is one
family), Loka Kalyaanam (for the spiritual good of all
in the world) and Sarava Maanava Soubhratutvam (all
humans are brothers).

What else do you expect of a race to be respected
in the olden days?
