start teaching the young people that responsibility is something that one must aspire too not run from!

To many people run after it hits them marriage is hard work but the payoff is even better and the long term is a happy one in most cases.

Are you supposed to stay married until death if the spouse was abusive? If they threaten to harm your children? I spent over five years with a man who made it clear that I was the cause of all that ailed him. To him, my parenting skills lacked. We had a large number of bills which he felt I was the cause of. He got involved with some bad element and then said that I was just as much at fault and that I would lose our child.
You are right...marriage is a sacred thing. But only if both partners love and respect each other.

Where were you when my ex-wife had her affair and divorced?

Certainly folks like you were not talking to her when she made her decisions.

I tried to lead all I could, but eventually I ran out of options and the divorce was granted.

So where was all the help I needed to save the marriage? It certainly wasn't in the church, they were no help. It wasn't in the courts, they were no help. The prayers prayed daily and nightly did nothing, given the outcome.

If God isn't doing anything about divorce, as evidenced by my unwanted divorce after asking God to intervene, there really isn't much hope for mankind to change the way things are.

Marriage is until death do you part or fornication defiles the marriage bed. If this happens Jehovah and Jesus forgive you if you choose to leave the marriage
also you may legally separate if your husband fails to provide for the family,
refuses spirituality of the spouse and is a wife beater/abuser. If this isn't happening in your marraige, better find the love you had at first and pray, pray, pray, pray and STAY, pray, pray, pray, pray, and STAY until someone DIES, OK!

it hink that you are right, i believe very strongly in marriage, and
i know what you are saying is so true, it about society it not
the same it all about taking of my needs, i believe that marriage
is loving experience that should be for life, but marriage now
days dont mean same things, when you give your self to your
mate infront of god, it should be for life. that what he want.
