It's hard to tell from your description... I know you're really upset, but you need to do a thorough evalutation. Did you feel the gut for an impaction? That would be a hard lump in the gut which indicates something got stuck... Did you check to see if he could have been exposed to poisons (even fly spraying, the residue can drift down on tanks)... The temp is right? over 102 degrees? Good. Did you check his nostrils for discharge that might mean a respiratory infection? Did you check the inside of his mouth for pale greyish skin (sometimes with a cottony texture) that might mean anemia or a fungal infection?

Did you check his jaw for softness which might mean a calcium deficiency? Swollen neck nodes which might mean too much protien and possible kidney failure?

Go through a thorough review, and you'll likely find the cause.
If not, see if there is any other info that might help.

uromastyx tend to urinate a foul mix when frightened, so the leakage could just mean it's in pain... Or it could be a sign or poisoning, as many pesticides cause dehydration and urinary leakage... It could be diarhea from an infection...

Let us know.

All we here can do is guess at the cause - it sounds like your lizard needs to see a vet and soon! I'm giving you a link to a website thet has listings of herp vets by state (you have to go to the bottom of the page). If there's no one in your area, there's another link for consulting vets - maybe you can get your regular vet to get in touch with one of these to help figure out the problem. This could be impaction, parasites, or something else.

Were is the fluid coming from because we had an iguana come in that was egg bond and a brown iodine looking fluid was coming out of her mouth. I would take it to a vet ASAP, it really sounds sick an no one on here is going to be able to save it. So find a vet and soon!

I am sorry to tell you but your uromastyx is dying from a parasitic infection that has gone to far to be treatable. If you can, put it out of it's misery by putting it in a container of water and putting it in the freezer. Or ask a vet to pith it.
