How's by you? Somehow, the astronomers couldn't leave well enough alone and decided to demote Pluto from planet status since it had a weird orbit and they were finding other planet-like objects in the regions beyond Neptune. They also decided to give some of the larger asteroids special status, since they do behave like orderly planets and are spherical. There is a critical size beyond which an object will become spherical due to gravitational attraction, and these asteroids were larger.
