Since the late 70s I've always carried one or another model of the Swiss Army knife. They are handy tools to have on hand 24/7. I prefer the all purpose Explorer, as it has most tools I would need for most occasions.

Butterfly knife.
It's not very sturdy, which can be problematic. But If I need a knife to use on something stronger I borrow one of my friends knives.
I carry the butterfly because I live a rich hood and it scares the living hell out of the rich snobs around here.

No, but I do carry a spring loaded hole punch to break my vehicle window in case I ever get submerged in water because I am paranoid that way and I can also stab a ***** if needed.

Perpetually. I'm between swiss army ones at the moment (been carrying one for 30 years or so, off and on). Currently, in the absence of a swiss army, I have a little retro "Commando Cody" one - always handy.
