First of all you don't have to put your legs up after sex. Some say that putting pillow under your bototm will help but the sperm really go where they need to without our help.
As for your fertile days... the standard answer is that you ovulate 14 days after your first day of your period and you get your next period 14 days after you ovualte. Since you have a 26 day cycle you might want to look into ovulaiton predictor kits or tracking BBT or getting saliva scope to know exactly when you ovualte. Remember the most fertile time is 24-48 hours before ovualtion ans up to 24 hours after. good Luck

If you are having trouble convieving you may want to go to the doctor. However, there are some home remedies that may help:
*It helps if you have an orgasm after your partner ejaculates, this will help move the sperm along
*take multi-vitamins, they ensure that you have all of the nutrients you need for conception
*Taking small doses of robitussin a few day before ovulation can increase your cervival mucos, i will attach a site that tells you the dosage...
*have sex every other day, the longer the seamen is in your partner, the more potant it is....
*Most importantly, to find out when your ovulating, take a home fertility test or calculate you Basal Body temperature (or go to the doctor)
Good Luck!

My cycle is also 26 days and I ovulate on day 12 the way I found out is by using the ovulation test. Everyone says day 14 but you have to remember that's for 28 day cycle. Your best bet is using the ovulation kits and having sex every other day. oh and GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

okay first of all it doesnt matter where you put your legs after sex. all that matters is that you ovulate. you have to figure out when that is .for me i avoid sex two weeks after my period has come. the problem may not be with you but your partner you have only been trying for 7 mths. it took me a year to a year and a half to concieve my daughter. if you think that there is a problem got to see a doctor but i can tell you that they wont do anything for you till they know that you have been trying for a full year. if you have the money go to the pharmacy and buy a ovulation test. it will let you know when you are ready to concieve but make sure that he is ready for you because if you wait your time may pass. it wont make for the most romantic love making but youll get what you want. good luck.

You normally ovulate around 14 days after the first day of your last period. You actually only have from 3 days before until three days after you ovulate to get pregnant. The odds that a woman will get pregnant in a month are actually only 25%. It took my husband and I 5 months to concieve our 1st child and we tried for 8 with our 2nd. Good luck.

Stop trying to get pregnant. It will reduce the stress and just have a lot of sex cause you want to! As long as there's no medical condition causing any problems, you'll see results in no time. Putting your legs up isn't really going to help out, BUT!!!! I have heard that staying motionless for a few minutes does.
Best of luck! And remember LOTS OF SEX, ALL THE TIME! (morning, noon, night)
