They'll win a Super Bowl before the Lions even get another whiff of the NFC championship.

There’s no parity in the NFL.
The closest thing to parity would be every team in a dome stadium with the same kind of turf.
Free agency is a joke. Free agency is just a way for some players to get more pay. If they are lucky and or blessed, they’ll get themselves placed on a team that gets to the Super Bowl and wins.
The Seahawks have a few more years with Hasselbeck, Alexander and Branch.
Another good receiver and RB to back up Alexander if he gets injured; and another, TALLER QB to back up Hasselbeck if he gets injured
Nothing against Seneca Wallace, but defensive linemen and LBs don’t give 6; or less QBs much of a chance to excel these days.
Scrambling QBs make for exciting play but it’s the drop back, pocket QB that wins the Super Bowl.
If the Seahawks stay healthy and get the championship game at home, maybe then they can get to and win a Super Bowl.
Maybe this ’07-’08 season.

It will be a few years before they win. They were pretty banged up this year so they have a good chance at getting back to the Superbowl but the winner will be the Colts, Pats, Ravens, or Chargers. But all of these teams could choke in the playoffs and a team like the Chiefs or the Jets could make it the Superbowl and an NFC will actually have a chance to win.

not every team wins the super bowl...hell not every team makes it to the super bowl. luckily for most teams, free agency and salary cap keeps more parity to the league. what it comes down to though is does ur team have enough brains in management to run the show?
for the record, i thought the seahawks got bad calls from refs during the super bowl. at least the hawks were on the receiving end of the tony romo debacle during the playoffs...that was a thingof beauty!

Im a Cowboy fan, even thogh the seahawks beat the cowboys in the wild card. That game was all Cowboys. i think the seahawks have a good chance of winning a superbowl in the next 2-4 year.

The only way the Seahawks will even make it to the Super Bowl is if they have a consistent quarterback AND running back.

I remember whilst the Seahawks performed in the AFC. heavily nonetheless if something of the communities fell over and died then yeah the Seahawks could be the 1st team to do it, yet they gained't make it.

Sadly for Seattle fans, I think they are on the downside.
Another one of their O linemen left the team this off season (he retired). The O line was bad this year after what's his name went to the Vikings via free agency last off season ... now it will be even weaker.
Competition in the NFC West is getting stronger, no team continues to win year after year after year.

as much as i can't stand the seahawks, looking at it realistically it's very possible they will eventually win a SB, but i can't see it happening in the near future. i can't see any nfc teams winning in the next few years, the afc will continue to dominate.

They have a small chance next season & they better make the best of it cause they continue to lose players & grow older.
