I realized that 'homosexual' people are often more intelligent and different (unique way of thinking) than most people.

How did it turn out that way? Does it mean just because someone is smart, they're attracted to their own gender?

Or is it just that because they're smarter, they even know how to appreciate the beauty of their own sex?

Well, because they get both sexes side of a story and balance it all out. They then have an advantage over alpha men, and better grades because they can think different and role play in class and at the job. Their life is a show kinda. They can plan weddings, fix a car, and babysit a brothers kids in a day then meet up with yeah later for a reserved dinner. All without a spec of dirt. However, some just hore around and dance with pretty drugged up people.

This is another form of stereotyping.Gays are portrayed as colorful, artistic, aesthetic, glamorous etc.But so are heterosexuals.Could many of us tell the difference between Rock Hudson and Kirk Douglas? I have over the years come across "gay" persons ranging from "slow learners" to those who would qualify for Mensa.Sexual orientation has nothing to do with intelligence. This is an unfounded cultural myth.

Sexual orientation has nothing to do with a person's intelligence. The whole concept is absurd. Yes, there are some brilliant gay people, as well as average & less than average intelligent gay people. It's the same with straight & bisexual people. It doesn't matter.

Gay people are not smarter than straight people. Both communities have their geniuses, their idiots, and everything in between. It is true, however, that many gay people aren't afraid of expressing ideas that straight people don't express out of fear of being called "gay."
And as a sidenote, Einstein wasn't gay.

Well statistically we are better educated, that is true. I don't know about "smarter" but we are on the whole, better educated.
Many of us find that we tend to hide in by being more studious and driven than our heterosexual counterparts.

I personally don't think that homosexuals are smarter than other people. I think that better-educated is more like what is happening. It seems that in general, the more educated someone is, the more likely they don't have problems with homosexuals, and are more easily able to accept it in themselves.

I personally think that gay people have stepped over boundaries that straight people cannot even fathom. Their minds are much more open. They are forced to find every single one of their strengths because there is so much against them in society. I don't think being gay automatically makes you smart, but I do believe that most gay people have much higher levels of openess, therefore, willing to accept and learn new things.
