I have had visits by people spirits and even my dog spirit.
It was predominate enough for me to show a couple of people
As there was an outline of her face on my curtain.
she has never been in my new house.. it was six years after her death.
She came to me in a dream first. giving me a puppy.
a male pup.. (which i personally wanted a female dog again).
And same breed.. as i was going to change breeds because i didn't want to replace the memory of her.
So i found this dream quiet strange.. but when i got the markings on the curtain which lasted a month.. and people friends saw this. And agreed with her photo i have in my album.
I believe animals have roaming souls too.
Blessings ALD
PS two months after her visit.. i went to quite dinner party and ended up coming home with a male pup. (blue healer).

Humans have 3 souls. The things you call ghost are the lower souls. Higher animal have 2 or 3 souls. Insects only have one soul. So the higher the animal the more likely that the lower soul of it in fear sticks around.

Not all souls roam.
There is the theory that ghosts have 'unfinished business', and as many have mentioned, there have been ghost stories about dogs. A dog's 'business' is protecting his master.
My theory is this: Reincarnation is the natural order of things. You die, you float for a short time, then you are reborn. Humans have the ability to alter nature like no other creature on earth. A wild dog wouldn't have that concept of self develop like a domestic dog would, so he wouldn't 'stay' as a ghost, like the pet. Cats are simply divine so they do what they are supposed to and don't mess with the order of things. Most other animals don't develop that 'connection' with their owners as these two do.
Another thought: Fairies are the ghosts of insects...perhaps, perhaps.

First of all let us understand what are ghosts. Each creature has a unique aura of his own developed gradually in its lifetime. When this being dies the aura's residence is destroyed. The aura or the energy starts hovering around to find stability. Some of these aura's are so strong that people can experience them. Since we are human beings, we experience these hovering auras or energies that have frequencies that can match ours. That is why we can experience ghosts of humans, dogs, and a few other animals. Wanna know more about ghosts, mail me. I've spent a lot of time searching for them and reseaching over them. Although I could never find a ghost, I believe ghosts are around everywhere. We just need to tune in our frequencies to contact them. The clairvoyants are capable of tuning their energy levels. Hence they can contact them...

There are many ghost stories about animals. The folks at TAPS (Atlantic Paranormal Society) who are well respected say that a number of entities out there are non-human, especially the non-friendly ones.
I've read creepy stories about trees. However they are very uncommon.

Living beings ARE souls, they don't HAVE souls. When a person or animal dies, they're COMPLETELY dead. Even *gasp* the bible teaches this, despite many misleading interpretations of it. There's no "immortal soul" that lives on after death. Ironically, this is the first lie ever told in the bible by Satan. God told Adam & Eve they would die if they eat of the forbidden tree in the garden of Eden. Satan told them they would not. They went with Satan's idea. Well, where are Adam & Eve now? DEAD! They do not exist ANYWHERE. Sadly, this lie has been perpetuated and spread so much that even good people have been deceived into believing it. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!

I've heard ghost stories of dogs that wait for their masters to come home or sit by the fire, etc. Animals do have souls. People just think they don't. What do we know about it anyway?

animals do.
however trees aren't scary as ghosts because they can't walk around and haunt people, so they make horrible ghost stories.
Which one makes a better story: an undead human zombie who goes off infecting everyone else in town and there are three survivors, but only one will make it out alive, or a tree stump who got mad and will haunt the woodcutter for all eternity?

Human beings are intellegent enoufgh to communicate about ghosts. Animals sure do see ghosts as they have the sixth sense but are unable to communicate to us. As for trees it is just another step in evulution.
