One of the biggest wonder to Non Muslims is the sheer hate among the different Islamic sects and yet with a very straight face claim it to be a religion of peace! There are many more wonders but I am just refering to this single valid Q raised by u. I do not think the rigidity shown by all sects are going to change for another 1000 years if indeed Islam survives that long.

Yes you should be worried if you there are gaps that are not discussed and fully understood between you. However, if you talk about things there should be no worries, you can respect his religion and he can do the same for you. You could both learn so much about each others backgrounds and without trying to convert each other the differences could bring you closer.

You know what the bible says about being unequally yoked?

If he is a true dyed in the wool Muslim you have problems comimg. If you are not a true, active Christian, then you will be alright. It all depends on the faithfulness of each other and in God, but success is not highly likely. May God bless your future.

A muslim man has expectations of his wife--- expectations that you as a westerner may not subscribe to. Strange why this question wasn't asked before the marriage.

Is there a gap to begin with ? I mean religion doesn't determine who we love. Even Jesus instructed us to love each other. He didn't say that we should only love people with the same religion.

Bible says we are to marry only Christians, you must know that from the new test. but 'if the unsaved is willing to stay with you you are to remain in the marraige', first of all is Jesus, never give up on your faith, not even unto death, remain n church, respect him as your husband, but do not compromise your faith. the soul lives forever. but if he leaves you; let him go.
