I woke up a LONG time ago- to the fact that if you swallow what you're being "fed" at face value, then you DESERVE to be called a jerk. Listening is an "art". If someone is telling you something- then you start asking questions about their motives. Use your BRAIN to think "critically", and don't automatically accept authority as being any better- than YOURS.

I so agree with Joseph II. Whenever you hear a report, do the 3A exercise -- Analyze, Analyze and Analyze.
