1) Your Body Is a Wonderland - John Mayer...Don't we all dream of a lazy day with our lover? It's a sweet comfortable song that makes me sing along and smile every time.
2) Breakaway - Kelly Clarkson...Since I was young I have had a plan for my life and not much adventure. This song takes me away. It is how I feel sometimes.
3) Home - Michael Buble...I am an emotional person and this song plays on the emotions. Have you ever been away from your lover and missed them so much? And MB has such a beautifully haunting voice.
4) Heaven - Bryan Adam...Ah an old classic. This should have been my wedding song. The words are perfect for me and my husband as we have been together since age 14. Been together for 14 years, married 9 and going strong!
5) The Heart Of Life - John Mayer...This is a newer song but quickly a new favorite of mine. It is a song about pain, but more importantly HOPE. "I know the heart of life is good". We need some positive vibes and this is one of them. If you haven't heard it...find it and listen.

Here are my five favorite songs and the reason why:
Love Song - 311
I love this song because it reminds me of my true love, my fiance. There aren't really that many love songs that express the feeling of love the way this one does.
Don't Let Me Down - The Beatles
This song reminds me of the fear that you face when you put your trust into someone. Taking a leap of faith can sometimes turn into a long fall but you gotta keep going.
Nothing Else Matters - Metallica
This song inspired me to become a musician. It is very intricate and the message it sends is excellent. It took me two and a half years to learn it and it was worth every minute of it. It truly changed my life.
Hotel Yorba - The White Stripes
This song is simplicity at its finest. As I was trying to get more technical (On my instrument) I heard this song and realized that the basics are sometimes the best. Great song.
Whiskey Lullaby - Brad Paisley & Allison Krauss
I have lost someone very special to me in my life and this song signifies the pain of losing. Not a lover, but all loss hurts.

Ok this is normally litterally impossible for me because I love every Beatles song (including John, Paul, Georges and ringos solo carres). So ill name my top 5 favorite NON-BEATLES favorites.
1.Stairway To Heaven-Led Zeppelin
Amazing lyrics and such a beautiful melody. Plus it has the greatest guitar solo of any rock song.
2. Dream On- Aerosmith
I really love the beat in the song and Steven Tylers scream of course
3. Like a Rolling Stone-Bob Dylan
Such a great song. Really love the lyrics in the song.
3.Get Off My Cloud-The Rolling Stones
for some reason i absoluely love this song and its beat
5.Whiter Shade of Pale-Procol Harum
Such a beautiful song. I really love his voice in this song
This wasnt that hard once i took out all of The Beatles songs. And John, Paul, George, and Ringos solo carrears.

The message still rings true after two attempts at marriage. Funny how neither woman I married inspired this song when things were "good".

A shocker about the horrors of growing up innocent around the wrong parents. I promised when I heard this to God to never harm my kids. I am adopted and got one heck of a deal.
Allman Brothers - Whipping Post
I sing this song in karaoke to huge ovations. Who hasn't been tied?
The Outfield - For You
Perfect love song.
Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine
Another song I karaoke well because it's so deep inside me. I think of my youngest daughter as we were separated two years.
