It makes sense that God would want George to forgive and forget, but why do we attack them? Why are we killing them? Sounds like a cruel world with a god to me!!

you have it all wrong-- the President, the cruel world, the killings, the Iraq-is, and last but not least of all the concept of "G-d". This is no joke. Number one read about the issues, number two understand them or ask someone to explain them to you. True, it is not a perfect world. It is man-made. You got it right there but all other assumptions have them upside down. Hope you will re-consider and not put all blames on someone who is in charge of making life and death decisions and does it under very difficult and humane circumstances. Hope it helps you heal too.

Not base on what someone has told you, but how much of the Bible have you ever read?
Even Moses proclaimed that, God is mightly in battle.
May I suggest to you that you get yourself a King James Bible and start reading the book of John starting from John 1:1. Then read 1st, 2nd and 3th John and Romans. (This will let you know where you stand with God yourself.) After that, read from Genesis all the way until you get to Joshua. (The law books.) Then see what you understand.

Why doesn't a coward like you go over there and witness the accusation first hand? A cruel world also contains beheading of innocent people! A cruel world consist of suicide bombers, which is happening all over the world. Its non serving cowards like you that point a finger, but haven't a clue whats going on. Now go stick your head back in the sand COWARD!

you confuse that of men with that of god ,
further you see the deeds of the leader as the works of the killer,
each man must decide in his own heart to kill or be killed ,
when put in the position of them or him ,
we can send a child to war but cannot make them kill
it was found after ww1 that of the many rounds fired only one in ten was aimed ,the rest was fired off because they had to
none can decide to credit nor blame without knowing intent
what is in a mans heart
its basic freewill ,our choice ,morally ,man kills man
perhaps it is easier to understand gods part
god creates life ,then god sustains the life of man ,god is the life bringer /sustainer ,gods light sees all life created and sustained,
gods role is as the mother that birthed you
but more
all that lives is because god willed it to live
then comes the child who as you has freewill
free to kill ,free to do anything
and god will just say kids will be kids
see god is as the worst of loving parents ,god sees the grown fruit ,not the evil but the good
god loves every one
all ,who of life is not a child of the father
god dont judge
god dont condem,god is life /love /light /all grace the only perfect ,when the whole world is against you
only one will be for you [ie god]
so george is not god ,he is man ,
god loves him as much equal as he loves sadam or jesus ,

all ,not you more ,nor less ,all given the same wage at lifes end [sometimes by man ] all equal wage if we lived a sinless few seconds or a complete long life of evil all get grace
all get life ,all get born again ,god forgives us our all
when we know we are forgiven ,we seek to earn that forgivness ,
some refuse gods light and send thierselves into the darkness of hell
but in time alll come out of hell
in thier own time and way and enter into the fullness of life in god light
life eternal
just as people cant take something they feel they havnt earned most try thier hardest to earn god grace ,
they must give up blame and shame and accept gods eternal life
do not mistake the lies of men
god is not even aware of the cruel ,the mean ,
just as the mother is blind to a childs sins so to is god
god is good all good ,no less than perfect
man is free totally free ,
we have many dead sons and daughters because some would gladly die for you
or me or even thiose gw might call terrorist
