There's no way he got injured on that play. McGrady had his groin injured and he still walked off the court. So, even if he strained his shoulder, WALK off the court like a man and quit crying!!

Sub Question: Who thinks he just doesn't want to play Dallas on Thursday?

Come on guys, I've seen the play on Sportscenter ten times now, I've Tivo'd it a couple dozen more times. His arm didn't even extend past his body. In fact, HE spun away from Battier. I've seen plenty of injuries and basketball and THAT didn't look like a SERIOUS injury.

Maybe he's afraid of playind Dallas because he KNOWS Dallas was the better team. Given 19+ free throws a game and they STILL win by controversial calls and by 5 total points in games three, five and six.

Wade doesn't own anyone except for the referees.

Hahaha!!! I think he was seriously injured, but I LOVE YOUR THEORY!

I'm also very disappointed Wade won't be there to get his @ss straight up whooped by Dallas. And I'm very disappointed he didn't get injured in the Dallas game, because that's what the Mavericks need to do rough him up a little show him what a real foul is and not these BS fouls they called in the Finals last year.

Your either blind, a bitter Mavs fan, or a real jerk...maybe all the above.

Let's see, NBA Finals...Heat 4 Mavs 2
Dwayne Wade Finals MVP.
Afraid to play the Mavs??

LOL!! I don' t think so

I'm sure Dirk, and the Mavericks are very relieved to not have to face the Heat with D-Wade. But, if they still find away to lose, I'm sure they'll find a reason to blame the refs anyway.

Why in the world would D-Wade fake an injury??

He owns the Mavs...and even better then that, he's gotten into their collective heads, including Mark Cuban's.

It really doesn't matter at all how many wins the Mavs get in the regular season...does anyone believe this team can win when it really counts??

I'm not a believer.

the only thing he pretends is that he's jordan as he amazes the masses with a vast array of moves every night. your primadonna is that big bird looking novitzki always crying about breaking a fingernail like a biatch! did you happen to look at sportscenter last night and see the statistical rankings of wade this year or have you been frozen and just thawed out? top 5 in four categories and 7th in another. you better ask somebody and i'm appalled that so many people were seemingly frozen with you! we'll see if dallas can make it past phoenix, san antonio, or utah to even get to the heat in the finals. it's no biggie about playing dallas. just another stop in the regular season. we'll see what happens in may and june.

Give the man a break....Wade is one of the most durable players and he wouldn't do that. Look at his early games in Miami, and in Marquette...he goes down hard, and stand up ok. No matter how clearly you see it, there is no way for you to tell if he's hurt or not.
And why would he avoid playing Dallas? The only reason I see is that doesn't want them to eat his dust.

I am an Orlando Magic fan, don't get me wrong.

let me guess, your a mavs fan eh?

its not like football where you get a penalty for diving. god, its a real injury. read the papers tomorrow. then we'll know for sure.

as to your insinuation that he just doesnt want to play dallas, well you must be out of your mind. that is just plain ridiculous. do you honestly think that a regular season win over the heat will validate their claim that they were the better team last june?

bottom line is, mavs should stop crying about last year and focus on getting back to the finals. who knows, they may get a chance at stomping the heat in the finals this time. and thats validation.

nah,he aint afraid of dallas. i mean, look at what he did to them in last year's finals ( with a little,no alot, of help from the refs). but wade is a warrior and sometimes freak injuries happen in sports. theres no way he is that good an actor( he had tears for god sakes!) to fake that injury.. having said that, its gonna be a real downer since i was really looking forward to the game tomorrow.

It looked pretty serious. It looked like he seperated his shoulder & that is injury that hurts really bad. As far as McGrady goes all he did was tweak his groin. That isnt no where near as what dwayne wades injury was. Why wouldnt he wont to face dallas. he has already proved that no one on their roster can guard him and he can score at will against them.

i dont think he was playing around with his shoulder injury but i do agree the whole wheelchair thing was too much. i mean its not like you need your shoulder to walk off the damn court, so why do you need a freakin wheelchair??? *sigh* i like d-wade a lot but im starting to become really annoyed with him this season. it seems like after they won a ring last year, his ego has inflated two fold!

Why wouldn't he want to face Dallas?

He basically owns them and does whatever he wants against them

If dallas couldn't raise their style of play or stop him in the Finals how would they stop him in a regular season game?

I think Dwyane's just a REALLY good player who moves around and tries HARD to get the ball. Plus, why would he be scared of Dallas?? Miami beat them 4-in-a-row thanks to Wade.
