Your best bet is to ask a MD, but until then, I would say yes. The ovaries produce eggs and eggs unite with the sperm, no eggs no conception. But, if you are asking because you are already pregnant the answer would be different.

If you are already pg and want to deliver....yes, it would affect things, you may need radiation, RX and this is a sensitive time. You will need to work closely with your MD, Ovarian cancer can be stopped, don't get discouraged, just be very careful.

Yes, the treatments associated with ovarian cancer can affect your fertility.

Many women with ovarian cancer wind up losing their ovaries. Surgery is a common option for removing the cancer and usually involves additional removal of the uterus and fallopian tubes - rendering you unable to have a child.

Other treatment options are chemotherapy and radiation. Both of these can damage your fertility.

Yes. It is a cancer in the location where you make eggs. If they have to radiate it or remove it then you are one baby maker out of two short. Your ovaries usually alternate spitting out an egg each month and that means your chances of having a baby is cut in half. You also have to worry about effects of the cancer and medications on the other reproductive organs such as the fallopian tubes and uterus.

Ovarian cancer is viscious. If the doctor had to remove BOTH ovaries, then you will not be able to conceive, but if one is left, you need to talk to your physician about any possible long term effects from the chemo or radiation
