I think it all depends how much of a mommies boy your husband is?? Mothers are very over protective(especially over their little boys), I feel sorry for my my future wife....

Remember this. If you live long enough, you to, will be a mother-in-law. It also works both ways, there are daughter-in-laws from hell! I have been blessed to have one thats an angel.

Well actually, My mother-in-law was an awesome woman, but unfortunately she died at a very young age just after I started dating her daughter, who eventually became my wife. So I can say there are some good ones out there !!

I love my mother in law. She watches the kids anytime I ask, and takes my side in arguments.

I don't know, i never got to met mine. She past away a month before i met my hubby,i would love to have met her. So i could thank her for raising such a great guy. I do know my mother got on great with, my ex sister in-law.
