It is playing a game in hopes of gaining points.
Since it is a violation of Yahoo Q&A we have quite a conundrum on our hands.

The features are to show how "just right" of a gamer you're. The intent of achievements is to increase sport play. Most achievements are designed to make you play in a place or at a trouble stage, or a recreation mode you quite often would not. So playing for achievements supply the sport more of a challenge or at the least challenges them to leave their comfort stage. Getting a hundred% is relatively a feat and will take a long way longer on most video games than effectively beating the game.

The factors are to instruct how "sturdy" of a gamer you're. the point of achievements is to boost sport play. maximum achievements are designed to make you play in a position or at a project point, or a sport mode you regularly does no longer. So taking part in for achievements provide the sport greater of a project or a minimum of annoying situations them to go away their convenience point. Getting a hundred% is very a feat and could take far longer on maximum video games than basically beating the sport.

Look at the profile of Prassana K for a good example - he doesn't answer many questions properly but "copies and pastes" the answer immediately before his, just to gain 2 points.
Ironically, one of the first questions he ever posted was about how to get points and go up the levels.
It's annoying when you've done some research into an answer only to find some prat doing this!

When someone answers 'I don't know', just for the sake of getting two points (just like the third answerer)

lol, lots of things, having 2 accounts and giving yourself best answer, I had someone say that if I gave them best answer and went and answered their question, they'd do the same for me. Think I'd have got a violation for my troubles.
