I am only being a vegetarian for lent, because it is custom in my church. However, you can say that it is trendy for teenagers to become vegetarians, because it is.
To me though, if Jesus ate meat, I'm not above it. I just love meat so I'm abstaining for awhile.

Actually, I have a lot of respect for them. I tried to be vegetarian once, but I did it wrong and became anemic. I am trying to slowly exchange meats for other sources of protein in my diet. I don't expect anyone to become vegan/vegetarian. But for those that choose it, I think it is a great idea (for whatever reason they are choosing.)
*My reason is due to all of the steroids, hormones, antibiotics, etc. pumped into the animal. Also, because many animals are raised in inhumane conditions.

i think that although there are certain health advantages to those diets, there are also disadvantages.
i believe that the vegan diet has the same problem as many other diets, it is too extreme.
and i believe that human beings obviously were not meant (by God or nature, whichever you believe in) to eat a diet that excludes all animal products, as is evidenced by the fact that we are unable to survive without vitamin B12, which can only be found naturally in foods of animal origin.

doesnt a vegan man's semen taste sweeter and less bitter?
HAHAHA
sorry i couldnt resist saying that
(heard it somewhere)
honestly i dont know if it does any good because the extra land used for growing crops will destroy the habitat of other animals which arent being eaten, but i have no problem with people who abstain from meat because they love animals. sounds like they are very well-intentioned

I was a vegetarian for a year.....I found myself constantly hungry.....I was using supplements 3-4 times a day.....but at the time I was in the Midwest and I found it hard to obtain fresh fruits and vegetables in the winter......my weight was dropping off rapidly and my energy was sluggish.....it was harsh for me...Ive actually been considering it this month (going back)...But I don't know !!!!!....

Hey, I'm not too fond of much meat myself, especially since I nearly died eating bad meat, so I don't really mind. They can do what they want, and even if I didn't like them, I wouldn't be able to do a damn thing about it.
