I hate to play the Oracle here but I fear you are at the beginning of a very turbulent relationship full of emotional unhappiness, perhaps with the odd occasional moments of physical bliss.
Your boyfriend views you as an object to be "owned" by him. You have no intrinsic right to have your own friends or make your own decisions about who you talk to or spend time with.
And you see yourself as needing to be with a guy like that. If you had good personal boundaries and believed in your own self-worth at all, you wouldn't put up with that kind of behavior for a minute. You certainly wouldn't accept it if one of your parents treated you that way, but somehow because he is your boyfriend and he is such a catch, you are willing to make yourself subservient for him.
I suggest counseling for you to work on your codependency issues. He is clearly too full of himself to bother suggesting that he go as well. Hopefully you can get some clarity about why you think it is okay for some guy to walk all over your personal rights and freedom to be yourself.

because they don't get their own way. They have to be the centre of attention and have everything they want laid on whenever they want. Some could call it spoilt brat syndrome. If you aren't stroking their ego you should be and if you aren;t stroking their brow when they have the most minor ailment you should be no matter how tired, run down, ill or overextended YOU may be.

It's probably nothing major just make sure you talk with him about it, he'll want to talk later, but guys get jealous sometimes as well as moody. Hopefully you really aren't messing around. Guys can get insecure about things, can never be too careful.

just let him be this way and see how he reacts. stay cool man... hey, at least your man is jealous and this means he cares about you and wants your attention! congrats!
he's just being childish for a while. just let him be and things will get better.... if he still doesnt talk about it after a few days, have a good talk with him and let him tell you whats going through his mind. : )

did you feel the same way as he did when you saw him flirting with your friends?
Everyone perceives things differently. What you call harmless conversation he may call flirting, and vice versa.
What you have to do, is learn to be more considerate of each other's feelings.

Dump him, it's ok. He doesn't respect you. If he trusted and respected you, he wouldn't do these childish things. You'll be better off with someone else that appreciates you and treats you with respect.
