The Ford Mustand has been around since 1964. The Corvette has been around since the late 1950's. To me, they're both cool looking cars.

There bolth great cars but go with a Mustang. They arent as powerful looking a newer Corvettes but they flex more style and look more like the old Mustangs. They are fun and the 67 Mustang id probably the greatest car. I am a chevy go though because Chevys are easier to work on.....except the Corvette......way to expensive. =)

The Corvette made its debut in 1953 just for the record. I have owned both "vettes and Mustangs and both are fun to drive but the "Vette is still America's #1sports car . For tech info check out Road & Track and Car & Driver. Dollar for Dollar the "Vette outruns Viper,the Ford GT Ferrari and Lamborgini for 1/2 the price . A Mustang is more in the class of the Camaro,Firebird, and Dodge Challenger as these cars fall in the "pony car"class

Mustangs are some of the most overrated cars in history. THeyve been very mediocre for their entire 40+ year run. NEVER have i see one get a 5 star raing in any magazine. EVER.
chevy has put out some serious machines with the corvettes. The most recent z06 the best example. Its a serious beast, and one of the first american sportscars to actually have some refinement (unlike the c5 z06, which i thought was very clunky).
and for the record, the gt500 is not a corvette killer, especially on a track. The gt500 has a pathetic suspention and brake setup.

Vettes. I think, in comparison to Mustangs, the Corvette has many more body styles throughout the years. First vette was 1953. Both are powerful, fun and catch a lot of looks for the older ones. The older ones are both easy to fix, as everything is right there in front of you! :)
I love the 70's vettes, there's nothing else on the market like them.

As a ford guy and an owner of an 06 Mustang GT, I would love a new Vette even more than my Mustang. The problem is, I could own two Mustangs for the price of a low level Vette.

Mustang! Pure muscle and you survive the crash. Corvette, well, has become the relm of the 40 and 50 year old GM guys who go to car shows and rallies and such...

Corvette by far
much better quiality plus Chevy has alot more class when building these types of cars
the corvette is also much more durable and i think its one of most desired muscle cars
