In a circle, there is no end and no start and no middle - so in a circle the middle can be the beginning. E.g. the chicken and the egg story - which comes first

to have a middle, you need a place to begin. That is the beginning. The part in the middle? That's the middle.

The only way a middle can be the beginning is if the middle of what ever it is begins something else.

It can be, every bit as much as it being the beginning or end for that matter. What you have to remember is the definition of the words. In that respect it couldn't. Once you start questioning like you have done you will most certainly meet up with an experience that will show this possibility. Depends on your reference point. Eventually you'll be shown that there is no absolute beginning nor middle nor end. What can be interesting is to put some effort into this idea of yours and play with it. Probably not too popular, but sounds like a space to be explored.
