the people in Alabama must be kind of numb, what damned business is it of the legal establishment who uses a dildo or what ever they want to satisfy their sexual desires?? do you think they would approve of the missionary position? or do they want to dictate that also?

Well strike Alabama off my list of places to visit...
The thing is the could have passed laws concerning education, appropriated funds for highway maintaince, or passed a state constitutional ban on flag burning.
On the other hand, be thankful that they spent the time on this nonsense instead of doing some real harm. They could have passed a law requiring everybody to have their tires inflated to 30 psi (reguardless of size or manufacturer's specs) or one requiring that all retail stores must remain closed between the hours of 11:59 PM Saturday and 12:01 AM Monday.
As for this law, I think the Supreme Court will rule it unconstitutional. First off how do you even define sex toys? If a couple are really into role playing Teacher and Naughty Student, will textbooks be considered a sex toy? What about the chalkboard?
