I'm no expert on this era in history but "C" does seem like the correct answer-----they even made coinage back then with a swastika on one side and the church on the other to try to marry the church to the state.---didn't work-----my uncle showed me some coins of this era and explained this to me.

I agree, I am sure this is the one, after very much consideration of the question, the resource, and evaluating, the opinions of others after a lengthy discusion with those that may of been there at the time, even tho some were on there happy hour I still believe that what they have contributed to the question is reliable enough to debate this a considerable time more...
