If you want the big schools to take a look at you...send them game tape and interest letters.

Otherwise...travel south and start visiting colleges.

The purpose of being scouted is to get a scholarship...
to pay for school.

You can walk on at any school...but most Division 3 schools don't have the funding for scholarships.
I don't care what anyone tells you...I walked on to Cal...

The problem with "walking on" - is that you are fighting against scholarship winners. But theres always hope. Look at Mark Walen of the Dallas Cowboys.
Walked on to USC...went to the Rose Bowl as a freshman...the first two starters ahead of him got food poisoning...so he played...and he played well.
The next year, he was holding the scholarship and three years later went to the Cowboys.

If you walk on...and you got what it takes to stay on.
Keep your grades up and you can compete for scholarships the second year.

Do you play football? Are you a Quarterback?
Do what Tom Brady's Dad did.
Brady went to my girlfriends school, which was also where Barry Bonds went, so i seen him play a few times.
He was pretty good for high school, but i never thought he would go as far as he did.
ANyway, his dad made a video highlight of Tom and sent it to colleges, Michigan came and watched him, worked him out, and signed him.
Not evean all "good" high school players get scouted and signed to NCAA schools, only so many spots. You really have to have some buzz about you.
Good size, set some records, won state titles, etc.
