Cheney says that when Democrats want our troops to come home, we are Al Qaeda.

In almost the same breath, the fact that the UK is pulling out troops is "a good sign that the strategy is working."

Which is it? Either we pull out because the strategy is working or the British are carrying out Al Qaeda strategy. Even the dark VP of the Sith can't have it both ways.

If they are our allies, and they are withdrawing from the safe area, why are they not redeploying where we need their help? See how that argument doesn't fly?

7100 troops is actually a pretty substantial number. It is about a third of the proposed "surge" that is causing so much consternation.

ok... here's the way it works...

EVERYTHING the dems say means that they support al-queda...

EVERYTHING that Bush or the allies say is a good thing for what ever reason they give...

now... don't worry your little head about the fact that sometimes these are the same thing... the big C says it, that's the way it is... no further thinking needed...

we are but mere mortals that can't comprehend what the great Cheney means... it all makes sense in the cosmic scheme... even though it sounds totally retarded and seems to make no sense at all...

but, why would they start being consistent with what they say now? Republicans clearly aren't paying attention, so why should they bother to make it consistent...

Take an objective view point. Britain is not all going home at once a phased withdrawal, which was the plan for long time.

Where as the anti-war protestors just want troops home immediately which would immediately give terrorists a powerbase to work from.

Look at history more closely as a person and not as a democrate.

All politicians are the same.

Southern Iraq where the particular troops are that are being withdrawn ( the 1200 or so of the 7100 UK troops referred to ) are in an area that has been stabilized.
Not all of Iraq is stable. So its worked in that part... so far it hasnt worked in the other part.

You still believe the talking heads?

Remember we live in the age of newspeak and confusion. The media is owned by the wealthy who control the contents.

They seek to confuse with BS more often than not.

Personally, for balanced News I read papers from at least 3 different countries.

the difference is there are about 4 different areas all in different situations. North of Kirkuk in what the Kurds want as Kurdistan their is almost no violence and the economy is booming in the south and east the checkpoints are holding with a significant reduction of violence. there is two hot beds, the Sunni triangle and Baghdad. you cant compare any of these areas militarily or strategically.

Schmorgen, 7,100 troops isn't a lot at all. That's what the UK has in place.
