why is my counter-strike: source game for pc lagging?

it seems to lag on some servers. why is that?

It probably lags because your video card must be just meeting the requirements, or it's most likely because your internet is slow.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive takes the original Counter-Strike gameplay and changes its graphics because it is more detailed than the original Counter-Strike game. They also added some maps.
