My unique & wonderful teen student with severe disabilities loaned me his personal copy of a reggae music CD and listening to it was such a truly 'joyful' experience. So many people would assume that my student has few dreams, abilities and likes or dislikes by only viewing his appearance but this simple CD, symbolizing his uniqueness, shed new light on our typical biases as a culture. We must all remember to celebrate our singulary differences in this world! Thank you for asking.

I had to work my butt off in skool while everyone else is sleeping, and after that I had an angry teacher talk to me. However, this sets the stage for when something really good happens during a bad day, its all the better. I got to have a nice nap and shower and stuff... :)

Well....considering the fact that I'm still alive...yeah, I find joy in that. I find joy in living for today and anticipating tomorrow, looking forward to the next day. You never know where life will take you. I'm in it for the ride, baby...in it for the experiences. In it to find true happiness and maybe enlightenment as well. If that is at all possible.
