Red is the traditional wedding colour in many cultures in the world. I would inquire at Asian wedding shops, including Chinese and Indian.

I had mine made with silver satin undergown and a dark green velvet surcoat. 'Course, mine was 1360's fashion... At least I can wear it again...

But pure red: http://www.tiffanydesigns.com/tdseasonf06/pages/6110.htm : Veryyy pretty, and my favorite.

My personal favorite sites:

Both have more "poofy" traditional stuff *and* the unconventional. If you like stuff a little more "out of the box", check out:

You *need* to see some of the Prom collection of Alyce design, because there is more color choice, but be careful; opt for the most elegant. Also, try not to order the dresses in by mail, because the sizes sometimes run too small or big, etc. Use the store locator.

Happy hunting and good luck.

I bought mine at Dillard's Dept. Store. It wasn't specifically a wedding dress, but it was beautiful. I think they've changed the name now though. Look in high dollar dept stores.

A friend of mine bought hers online off ebay. It was beautiful.

Best of luck to you and I hope you do get married in red. I love it. Everyone thought I was crazy to get married in red, but it is becoming more and more popular.

There probably aren't any that have not been specially made or ordered by someone. However, find a white one you really like and then have it professionally dyed by a cleaners. It might cost a bit to have it done, but you will have exactly what you want.

Maybe try

This comes in claret:

But be very very careful. A red wedding dress can be AMAZING - and is very popular in Europe, however, choose with caution. You don't wan to look too prom-y. It has to look very bridal.

Good Luck!
