I own a 2002 Chevy Malibu, V6, with 46,000 miles, which I have driven for 10 months now. I check all my fluids monthly. Last time I checked my coolant was 3 weeks ago. Today when I checked it I found muddy looking clumps in the tank. My coolant is green and it looked fine last month. The car runs great and doesn't use too much oil (in my opinion. It's needed 2 quarts in the past 4 months) There is no antifreeze smell while driving, it doesn't overheat...what could the problem be? I am hoping it's just over due for a radiator flush. I've owned many cars much much older that I've never had this problem with and also never actually preformed regular scheduled maintence on. I'm freaking out. help!

My oil looks clean, if that helps. Doesn't appear to be leaking. No puddles under the car.
