I wanted to write a story people ages 10-14 would like. I want it to be about a girl (12 years old) who is always being made fun of by her classmates and finds out she has powers (that come from the darkness or evil of the world although she doesn't need to be evil) and since she is angry she joins the bad guy. But in the end she gives her life to save the friends she never had.

It sounds good so far, what do you need help with exactly? I like it, and I am 22! :-)
Maybe write it like a diary, start off she is at a new school and people don't like her. You can even use things that happen in your own life.
Good luck!Let me know when it comes out!

I don't understand what you need help with. It sounds like you have an outline of the story in mind, and you need to just sit down and write it. If you aren't confident in your writing ability, take a class or find a writing group who can help you with your style. But really, if you have a plotline and a compelling central character with a deep conflict, you have your story. You need to just knuckle down and get it written.

Check out http://www.elfwood.com it's a free website for fantasy writers and artists like you. You have to pass a quiz about Elfwood rules and copyright to join and then you can post your stories for peer critique. One word of advise, though: Elfwood is huge and you'll have to read and comment on other people's stories to get lots of good critiques of your stuff. I hope to see you there!
