I am beginning to believe he is. He says that by not building up American forces in Iraq, we would be validating al-Quida's strategy, but then says that the withdrawal of British troops is a sign that things are going well. If things are going well, why is he wanting to build up our troops instead of withdrawing them, like the British? Someone make sense of this please!!

This sorry administration is trying to make the best out of a bad situation. They are in deep doo doo and they know it. In 6 months Basra will be filled with Al Qaeda, the Brits will be gone and the US will have to send more troops down there to support the hapless Iraqi army.

The greatest foreign policy blunder in 100 years. Thanks Bush.

What else is new? These guys have made one bumbling mistake after another ever since taking office, and then they come out a day or a week later and act that they never did it. I think the MO is clear... they do whatever they want and then lie to the American people when it inevitably runs afoul. Because, for some reason, huge swaths of middle America just eat up their ********.

How can anyone in this country respect these lying sacks of sh-t? Any Republicans, any Democrats, any trained chimps would make a better administration.

He's talking out both sides of his whatever. Cheney is more like Stalin. He understands how to get power and use it. That does not mean he is smart. Building up American forces will shore up Haliburton and KBR. Remember, he is a major shareholder in war profits.

Dick Cheney is. His daughter turned out to be a lesbian because one would assume she doesn't like Dick or want to live with someone like Dick.
