The case study. You have to rely on what the person tells you. Is she telling the truth? Sometimes experience is mistaken with perceptions. There is a difference between reality and the person's reality.

And sometimes OUR interpretation on events can change things. We don't do it on purpose. It's human...

Therefor, harder to control!

In a case study you gather information from someone. You cannot control variables.

yeah, i'd say case study (A) as you're just listing to what the person has done and formulating an end as you go. the others you initiate yourself and have an end already in mind.
