i wanna make an online rpg site where each member owns their own country and its just like if you really were king/queen with wars and trading and treaties with the other countries and all that stuff.

what do you think?

would you join if i made it?

any suggestions of things i should include if i make it?

it wouldnt be very animated more like a forum type thing not animated like civilizations

There are MANY browser based games with that basic layout.
Check this site http://www.gamesites200.com/mpog/ half the browser games are EXACLTY what you described, the others are very similar.

Not to shoot down your plans or anything. If you can make it better, or more unique, than other games you'll still get a large fan base.

How can each person control their own country? Do you have any idea how big that would need to be? Even big companies would take years to program and design that and then need HUGE server room s just to run the thing. Give up already

Theres already a site kinda like what you described called Nation States.

a text-based online game where each person controls their own piece of land? hmmm... I think it's been made, many times. My favorite of the games have to be Utopia, which is hosted by Swirve.com

sounds like sid mier's civilization. except i don't think that game is online.
